Job Description
As a Paraplanner, you will be supporting the Financial Planners and play a slightly different role to a traditional Paraplanner, with client facing exposure quite obvious. Your day to day duties will include:
3. Managing the client relationship, keeping in contact and helping deal with queries, as well as arranging and attending review meetings
4. Preparing post-meeting reports to help clients meet their needs
5. Researching and analysing financial products and services that are necessary to each client's objectives and circumstance
6. Producing the investment strategy and recommendation reports
7. Completing regular reviews of client portfolios, maintaining a client review file to be able to assess client's strategy and priorities
8. Ensuring that recommendations are implemented in a timely manner
9. Keep abreast of industry changes and any new financial products or services that are introduced to the market
The Successful Applicant
For this role, we are looking for someone who has:
10. Experience in a paraplanning role, who wants to be exposed to or confident in client relations
11. Level 4 qualified, or studying towards
12. Knowledge of tax and estate planning, IHTs, trusts, pensions and ISAs is essential
13. Experience of reviewing portfolios and transfers is advantageous
14. Excellent communication skills and ability to build good relationships
15. Well organised with a strong attention to detail
16. Report writing skills is essential
17. Knowledge of exposure to systems such as Voyant, FE Analytics etc
