Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Nursing Talent Ambassador will play a key role in leading campus recruitment efforts and sourcing top nursing talent to join our home care team. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with nursing students, recent graduates, and experienced professionals through campus events and social media platforms to drive the recruitment of qualified nurses.
This role is primarily remote and will require travel within Ontario, supporting in-person recruitment events.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned to provincial talent priorities.
* Engage nursing students and graduates, collaborating with nursing schools and career centres to promote home care career opportunities.
* Utilize social media platforms to proactively source, engage, and attract nursing talent, showcasing the advantages of a career in home care.
* Represent the company at career fairs and networking events, championing the benefits of working with our organization.
* Maintain consistent communication with prospective candidates, providing information on job opportunities and application processes.
* Track and report on recruitment activities and candidate engagement.
* Build strong relationships with nursing schools and industry organizations.
* Participate in the interview process as required.
* Assist with the initial stages of the candidate onboarding process.
What you will need to be successful:
* A nursing degree or diploma; HR designation is an asset.
* 2 to 3 years’ experience in nursing, home care preferred.
* 2 to 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition is considered an asset.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital recruitment strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven organization and presentation skills.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products.
