We are recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to work with my great law firm client based in Plymouth.
Responsibilities:
1. Assists conveyancers in managing the legal process of property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
2. Prepares and handles legal documents, such as contracts, title deeds, and mortgage offers.
3. Liaises with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to facilitate smooth communication and updates.
4. Conducts searches with local authorities and other relevant parties to gather important property information.
5. Helps maintain accurate records of transactions and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have direct industry experience, but alternatively, those used to a fast-paced, professional environment would be suitable. Conveyancing is very admin heavy so a process-driven individual would be a good fit.
