Fire & Security Service Engineer – Kent & Surrounding Areas CBW has partnered with a well-established Fire & Security company to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer for their operations across Kent and the surrounding areas. Salary: £42,000 per annum (subject to experience) Why This Role? As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining the high standards the company is known for. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled routine servicing of fire and security systems in line with company standards. Carry out emergency callouts, remedial repairs, and minor additions to existing systems. Ensure clear and effective communication with customers regarding system status, defects, and fire safety. Maintain stock levels and manage equipment efficiently. Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner. Work in accordance with health and safety requirements and industry standards. Provide suggestions for system improvements to the Line Manager. What We’re Looking For: To be considered for this role, candidates should have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Fire & Security service role. A detailed understanding of BS5839 Part 1. Knowledge of fire alarm issues and solutions, including the ability to make recommendations for improvement. Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA). Familiarity with relevant fire safety standards (BS7671, BS5839, BS6266). Experience with Siemens and Gent analogue fire alarm systems (preferred).
