The Identity and Access Management (I&AM) Analyst will play a vital part in administrating and maintaining Quilter's I&AM security, standards, and processes. This role is critical in fulfilling I&AM related requests (joiners, movers, leavers and ad-hoc access requirements) while ensuring that fulfilment teams, developers, architects, and other employees understand I&AM requirements and their implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with our Security Architecture team to drive efficient and effective delivery of I&AM across all platforms and technologies, proactively identifying issues and implementing resolutions. Responsibilities: Design and administer the framework for managing user identities, accounts, job profiles, and access privileges via the I&AM systems - Ensure the framework is properly understood and managed by all relevant stakeholders. Monitor adoption of the I&AM framework, across business areas and systems, and manage a continuous improvement plan to further adoption taking a risk-based prioritisation approach. Ensure Joiners, Movers & Leavers (JML) processes are robustly designed against best practices, and are consistently followed, working with HR and other key stakeholders to provision, de-provision and recertify rights as required. Manage automated approval flows for all access requests to ensure they are effectively enforced and approval workflow remains appropriate. Execute the periodic recertification process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of recertification and operating robust controls to revoke any access no longer required. Administer I&AM systems - Collaborate with IT and IS teams to maintain and enhance I&AM systems and toolsets. Develop and continuously improve I&AM related processes and procedures - Implement best practices and ensure that processes are efficient and effective. Work alongside key stakeholders to automate and continually improve I&AM activities utilising industry trends and best practices. Provide training, knowledge articles, and guidance to fulfilment teams - Educate teams on I&AM protocols, procedurals and controls and ensure they are well-informed. Identify and troubleshoot I&AM issues - Quickly and effectively address any I&AM-related issues that arise. Work with Identity Security Architects and other stakeholders to understand security requirements for I&AM and how they must be applied - Ensure that I&AM processes fully align to these requirements. Participate in projects and initiatives from an I&AM perspective - Offer expertise and insights on I&AM to various projects and initiatives. Enforce all company procedures, standards, and best practices relating to I&AM - Ensure that all I&AM activities comply with company policies and standards. Provide appropriate management and governance reporting on I&AM related processes. Key Projects or Undertakings: Own and operate the Identity and Access Management lifecycle including provisioning, control reviews and recertifications. Ensure I&AM processes are appropriate via management reporting, recertification and other oversight controls. Regularly validate and certify I&AM practices to ensure compliance and security. Supporting project delivery from an I&AM perspective - Provide support and expertise for projects related to I&AM. Monitoring and improving performance of fulfilment teams with regards to I&AM - Ensure that fulfilment teams are performing optimally in their I&AM tasks. Developing and continuously improving I&AM framework to leverage accurate job profiles, automation, efficiencies, and best practices. Aligning this to latest regulatory and industry standards. Main Stakeholders: Business users - Engaging with business users through the Identity lifecycle, ensuring processes are followed and dealing with queries that might arise. Information Security - Collaborate with the information security team to ensure that all I&AM practices are secure and compliant. Project Managers and Architects - Work closely with project managers and architects to integrate I&AM requirements into projects. Head in CIO function and Senior Technology Management - Provide updates and insights to senior technology management and the CIO function. Service Operations customer support and fulfilment teams - Support and guide customer support and fulfilment teams in I&AM-related tasks. About You Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge: Proven experience in I&AM process development, improvement and fulfilment. A strong understanding of the risks and impacts associated with poor I&AM practices. Excellent understanding of IT Security and Service Management best practices and standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to analyse processes, identify key control requirements and design processes to ensure controls operate effectively. Experience using industry standard Identity Management and Governance tools (e.g. Microsoft AD, Entra, ServiceNow etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
