Bryntirion Surgery is a well-established surgery under new management, and we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our close-knit teams. You will work autonomously alongside our welcoming and supportive Nursing and Administration team.

Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities as a General Practitioner include:
* Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose, and monitor conditions.
* Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery.
* Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing.
* Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors, and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams.

As mentioned before, the surgery is under new management; however, we aren't looking at making huge changes as we know that the surgery and their teams are held in very high regard.
We are very family-focused and have been serving our community for many years.
The successful post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.

* Member of the GMC Register
* On Welsh Performers List
* Experience of working in primary care
