Hire Controller/Plant Administrator Competitive Salary Full Time – Monday to Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm (1 hour lunch break) Overview: Position available for a hire controller/plant administrator from a construction, plant or similar background to join a leading construction company in a role offering training and career progression. Role & Responsibilities: Deal with hire enquiries, orders and collections. Liaising with the yard team and sites to ensure maximising utilisation of owned plant and equipment before placing orders with external suppliers. Engage with supply chain to satisfy requests not supplied from internal stock. Continuously review live hire reports to ensure internal plant system is up to date at all times. Process off hire requests, ensuring suppliers collect the equipment within the agreed time frames and accurately updating the internal hire system Syrinx. Raising purchase orders, inputting proof of delivery tickets Running maintenance reports & inputting breakdown/repair records onto system General ad-hoc administration duties when required
