Job Title: Service and Commissioning Engineer

Salary: £35'000 to £45'000 (based on skills, training and competence)
Hours: 40 hours per week - Core hours 10:00am to 4:00pm - working hours either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm
Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Job Overview:
As a Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of the gas sector while advancing your own professional journey.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake system calibration, repairs and maintenance activities on client sites, addressing any concerns arising throughout the process
- Undertake system commissioning on client sites, addressing any concerns arising from the commissioning process
- Test communications and conduct end to end testing
- Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customer specific issues
- Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address in-house issues, deploying all forms of communication
- Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of the commissioning strategy and plan
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites
- 2 years' experience working independently i.e without local oversight management
- HNC/HND in either Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical or mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of PLC controllers and pressure control systems
