Job Title: Supervisor – Pressure Systems / Steam Boiler / High-Pressure Piping Location: South Wales Salary: £DOE Job Type: Permanent Industry: Engineering / Industrial About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Supervisor – Pressure Systems, Steam Boiler, and High-Pressure Piping to oversee the installation, maintenance, and compliance of high-pressure systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of steam boilers, pressure vessels, and associated piping systems in line with industry regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of pressure systems, steam boilers, and high-pressure piping. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations (e.g., PSSR, ASME, PED, or other applicable standards). Conduct inspections and risk assessments to maintain system integrity and operational efficiency. Oversee and support a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors on-site. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pressure systems and piping. Liaise with clients, project managers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records. Implement and enforce strict health & safety measures for high-pressure systems. Key Requirements: Experience: Proven background in supervising pressure systems, steam boilers, and high-pressure piping projects. Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering) or equivalent industry certifications. Certifications: BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme), ASME/PED certification, or similar would be advantageous. Knowledge: Strong understanding of steam systems, pressure regulations, and industry standards. Skills: Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills. HSE Awareness: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation related to pressure systems. Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work in varied industrial environments if required.
