At Rednal Hill Junior School we are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Support Assistant/Learning Mentor to join our well-established, dedicated and passionate Inclusion Team. Our school has a wonderfully diverse community which it serves, and we are committed to engaging and communicating effectively with children, families and outside agencies to ensure that children feel happy, safe and successful in their learning.
We are looking for an applicant who is: committed, enthusiastic, flexible and creative in their ability to support children with additional needs, and particularly those who require support with the development of their social skills and emotional literacy. The ability to develop good working relationships and be an effective communicator is essential, to enable you to work successfully with our children, parents, visiting professionals and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
The successful applicant will be a key member of the school’s Pastoral Team, and willing to undertake Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training to enable them to work effectively alongside our existing DSLs to manage Safeguarding on a day-to-day basis.
