The Role : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our expanding Merchandising and Trading Department in London. In this senior role, you will manage a specific merchandise category, guiding team members to create an optimized product mix that enhances sales, profitability, and aligns with our strategic assortment goals. This role involves close collaboration with both the buying team in Los Angeles and the production team in China, ensuring a seamless, end-to-end merchandising process. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive sales, budget, and capacity plans; provide detailed reports that support product-level strategies for the buying and design teams. Ensure accurate updates on sales, stock, and product positions across company databases (Airtable) for consistent data integrity. Oversee stock, sales, ASP, and margin, providing insights at both top-line and product levels. Identify and execute trading initiatives such as product repeats, pricing adjustments, promotional plans, stock clearance, and intake management. Track and forecast sales and stock in alignment with KPIs. Collaborate with the Supply/Production teams to align intake dates for timely product launches. Develop and maintain country-specific production plans, ensuring alignment with forecasts, capacity, and payment requirements. Conduct detailed seasonal analysis at the collection, department, and product level, reviewing product repeats and ratios, seasonal delivery timelines, and more. WSSI Management: Manage and update the Weekly Sales and Stock Intake (WSSI), ensuring accurate forecasting and stock alignment with KPIs, sales targets, and intake schedules. Evaluate and propose adjustments to selling prices based on performance, seasonality, and market trends. Lead efforts to define and enhance the merchandising strategy, fostering continuous improvement across all processes. Skills and Requirements: Education: Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 years in merchandising, preferably within an e-commerce or fashion environment. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with expertise in advanced Excel for data management and in-depth analysis. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator, capable of engaging with multiple stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with strong attention to detail. Industry Experience: Previous experience with apparel brands is highly desirable. What's on offer?
