Job Overview:
As a consultant you’ll be responsible for supporting and running finance advisory projects, owning workstreams, and taking independent accountability for deliverables. You’ll be expected to quickly add value to the projects, deliver with strategic clients, applying your knowledge, skills and experience to bring value to projects.
You’ll support or run full end-to-end lifecycles on a wide range of projects, including finance strategy development, finance operating model design, process transformation, and technology selection. You’ll be at the forefront of our day-to-day work with clients, providing market-leading advisory and enabling finance functions of the future.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
* Managing project outcomes and plans and deliverables in line with outcomes
* Working in multi-disciplinary teams and having the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly
* Owning specific workstreams and deliverables related to CFO advisory
* Delivering and supporting high-quality deliverables including finance strategies, finance operating models, optimised close processes and technology supplier selection
* Serve as the key point of contact for clients on specific accounts for your workstream
* Successful implementation of projects in line with project statements of works and plans
The kind of person we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you have:
* Experience in either consulting or industry with a strong background in auditing/treasury/accounting.
* Exposure to shaping and delivering a variety of consulting projects.
* A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Excellent MS Office skills
* A bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus on Finance and Accounting
* Superb written/oral communication skills
* Committed to service excellence within all engagements
* Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, quick comprehension, and high motivation to shape and implement your own ideas
