Introduction: We are seeking a Site Account Manager- East USA to join our Site Account Management team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with key administrators at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value-added offering. Create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction with the site account. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Site Account Management, East/ Midwest USA.
This position is mainly located in the following region; Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, the role does require 75% of travel.
Team you belong to: You will join a team of site account managers dedicated to delivering profitable business growth from allocated sales. You will create relationships with the key people at the site and share this with the organization key interfaces.
What You’ll Do:
1. Promote After-Market Business: Identify investment and capex opportunities, conveying customer requirements to capex sales.
2. Plan and Coordinate: Oversee all Metso functions at the site, ensuring seamless operations.
3. Resource Management: Seek and coordinate the best resources and channels for customer-facing activities.
4. Customer Insight: Understand customer business needs and effectively communicate Metso’s added value.
5. Sales Leadership: Lead site sales activities with a cross-organizational team, understanding customer capex and open decisions and timelines.
6. Strategic Planning: Support account planning and implementation, including strategy, relationship management, budgeting, and sales roadmaps.
7. Information Management: Maintain and share information on installed base, performance, and shutdown schedules.
8. Customer Satisfaction: Orchestrate customer satisfaction surveys and continuous improvement activities.
9. Financial Support: Assist with accounts receivable and payment collections.
10. Travel: Be prepared for extensive overnight travel, both locally and to remote areas (minimum 50% overnight travel).
Who You Are:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent.
2. Experience: At least 5 years in a sales role, with specific experience in field service, equipment repair, crushing & screening, bulk material handling, pyro processing, and grinding equipment being a major plus.
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with minerals processing equipment and systems applications in mines and quarries.
4. Leader: Highly motivated, able to plan, organize, work under stress, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.
5. Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
6. Prioritize: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
7. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in SalesForce, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
8. Leadership Skills: Good leadership and relationship-building skills, with a bias for action and attention to detail.
9. Communication: Effective communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
