Work Arrangement: 40 hours per week
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of our computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves working closely with our external IT provider, Oryxalign, to provide comprehensive technical support and solutions.
Role Overview:
* Handle new IT equipment for all users, set up workstations, and regularly update systems for security and efficiency.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting, swiftly addressing IT issues and queries from staff and clients.
* Collaborate with Oryxalign to implement IT strategies and solutions, ensuring effective integration with internal systems.
* Maintain and upgrade systems in collaboration with Oryxalign, including regular checks, planning, and executing system upgrades.
* Oversee local and wide area networks, monitoring network performance to ensure system reliability and availability.
* Assist in creating new user accounts, manage account changes, and handle setups for new users and departing employees.
Minimum Requirements:
* 1 year+ in IT Support environment
* Demonstrable experience of providing on-site support
* Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
* Expertise in the evolving Microsoft 365 suite of products.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work effectively with external IT service providers.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prioritise
