Planning Partner
About the role:
The planning team are the guardians of creating industry leading, unrivalled work at Wavemaker. We are central conduits to all specialists, striving to push boundaries and have a positive impact on consumers and brand.
Wavemaker UK is looking for a Planning Partner to join our growing planning team, to lead the planning community at Wavemaker and drive excellence in our unrivalled planning work.
In this role, you will:
Planning Team leadership:
1. Lead and set the direction of the Planning team with the support and leadership of the Head of Planning.
2. Have a cross agency discipline role ensuring you are championing the Planning team across the agency.
3. Build an external presence on behalf of the Wavemaker Planning team including panels and with other clients.
Media planning craft:
1. Own the Wavemaker Provocative Planning Philosophy, ensuring its cascaded and used across the whole agency.
2. Lead the planning output across multiple clients and across the agency, ensuring agency planning outputs are consistent and can create unrivalled work.
3. Develop thought leadership, landscape and market updates that can be applied across multiple clients, having a clear overview and Wavemaker perspective to them.
4. Lead developing and cascading training/upskilling across the agency.
5. Have a heavy presence with clients to elevate key planning stages/critical projects.
6. Drive new solutions and methods within planning responses, including innovation and tech solutions that will push the industry and discipline forward.

7. Comms Planning: Expert - Leads agency and industry thinking on best practice in comms planning.
