The Job
Interpreting involves listening to, understanding, and accurately reproducing speech in the target language.
You will:
* Interpret for legal, health, and local government services
* Check understanding with non-English speakers
* Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
* Handle highly confidential information
* Liaise between service users and providers
Requirements
* Fluent in English and another language
* Right to work in the UK
* Age 21 or over
* Qualifications such as:
o Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
o Community Interpreting
o NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
o Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
o Other interpreting-related qualifications
* Flexible working hours
