I am partnering with a specialist MEP contractor to recruit a Temporary Works Coordinator for the delivery of temporary mechanical and electrical works on two major projects, valued at £20 billion and £40 billion.

As a Temporary Works Co-Ordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Manage all aspects of Temporary Works for assigned packages, adhering to BS 5975:2019 and relevant procedures.
Work closely with client, contractors' Temporary Works Coordinators (TWCs), and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project and legislative standards.
Ensure adherence to CDM Regulations 2015, prioritising safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle
Report to the Temporary Works Designated Individual (TWDI) and coordinate with the project Temporary Works Lead to maintain proper documentation and execution.
Guide and develop Temporary Works Supervisors (TWSs), promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Identify and address Temporary Works challenges, ensuring solutions align with project goals and safety standards.
Participate in Tier 1 Contractor workshops, attend meetings, and provide expert Temporary Works guidance to project teams.
To be successful in this position, you will:
Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and Temporary Works.
Strong understanding of BS 5975: 2019.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Temporary Works Coordinator in an Engineering Construction environment.
Certification from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as a Temporary Works Coordinator.
Familiarity with CDM Regulations design obligations.

What's on offer:
A salary between £55,000 and £68,000 per annum (negotiatiable), with a car allowance of £5,420 per annum, 5-day week or 9-day fortnight, travel/accommodation reimbursed through expenses, pension, flexible/hybrid working and 25 days of holiday.
