Careers Education, Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) Co-ordinator
Are you passionate about helping young people unlock their potential and guiding them towards successful futures? Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with one of our partner schools in Romsey, Hampshire to recruit a highly motivated CEIAG Co-ordinator (Careers Advisor) who will lead the school's Careers Education programme and support students on their journeys through education, training, and employment.
The Role
As a CEIAG Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students receive high-quality, impartial careers education. You will develop and deliver a strategy that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, preparing students at both KS3 and KS4 for important transitions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with universities, further education providers, and local businesses to create career pathways.
- Providing one-to-one and group guidance to students, helping them explore educational and vocational opportunities.
- Supporting students at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) by tracking their progress and offering personalised advice.
- Organising work experience placements and career events in collaboration with staff and external agencies.
- Maintaining the school's careers portal and promoting career-related activities through the school website and social media channels.

Person Specification
We are looking for candidates with:
- 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills (proficient in MS Word and Excel).
- A friendly and professional demeanour, with experience working to deadlines.
- Desirable: A degree in a relevant field or working towards a Level 6 qualification in Career Development.
