Broster Buchanan are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a highly acquisitive, growing Private Equity backed, multi-site hospitality business who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant, on a permanent basis.
The Assistant Management Accountant will be based in the office in Boston, Lincolnshire and they will report into the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the production of detailed management accounts to include journals, accruals and prepayments
* Assisting with internal controls and annual audit processes
* Preparation of cashflow forecasts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting with AP & AR as required
* Supporting with statutory reporting deadlines are met
* Assisting the wider finance function as required
* Bank & Cash Controls/overseeing day-to-day accounting operations
* Supporting the FP&A Function as necessary
* Supporting with ad-hoc projects
The successful Candidate will be AAT Qualified/CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified and actively studying to Qualify. They will possess the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Assistant Management Accountant will have high intellectual capability and ability to work from their own initiative, as well as the ability to work both collaboratively and independently as a team player, willing to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up.
Exceptional communication skills are a pre-requisite for this role, as there will be engagement with a variety of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. This role will require strong systems capability including Excel.
Our Client is offering a Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits.
Hybrid working pattern of 3 days in Boston Office, with 2 days WFH.
