Job Description
A personal assistant (PA) is required for 2 hours a week, on either a Friday after school, Saturday, or Sunday, to support a 15-year-old with increasing their independence and engaging in activities.
The PA will help the teenager increase their independence by providing support with outdoor trips and other life skills. There is no personal care required, but the PA will need to prompt the teenager to go to the toilet and may need to assist with using public toilets.
Activities include outdoor walks, using public transport, cooking, fun activities appropriate for the age range, and trips to the park.
The PA should be clear-speaking and have experience with autism and special educational needs (SEN), as well as being a kind and patient person. A male PA is preferred, but a female PA will also be considered. The PA must be a driver.
