About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Inventory & Operations Planning Manager to join our dynamic E&M Supply Chain team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and transform our end-to-end materials processes, from demand planning to fulfillment. You'll play a crucial role in balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory, and ensuring maximum aircraft availability while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and motivate a team of specialists, providing clear direction and fostering a positive work environment.
Comprehensive Materials Planning : Oversee all aspects of materials planning, including demand, supply, operations planning, and inventory control.
Digital Innovation : Drive digital solutions and innovation within the supply chain, particularly in demand forecasting and order fulfilment.
Risk Management : Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs, assisting in the preparation and delivery of management reports and financial budgets.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and manage corrective and preventative actions.
People Management : Handle recruitment, selection, retention, performance management, and professional development for your team.

Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a high-pressure, fast-paced purchasing and supply environment, leading complex, multi-functional teams. CIPS qualification is desirable.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
Analytical Skills: Confident with large data sets, possessing key analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AMOS and AGRESSO systems is desirable.

Work Environment
This is a full-time role based in Luton, with a flexible working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, totalling 40 hours per week.
