About The Role Start Date: Approx. w/c 27th January 2025 Contract: 12 months fixed term contract (Some flexibility maybe required around the end date, as this a Maternity Cover Contract) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, some flexibility to be discussed. Salary: depending on experience Location: Gas Ferry Road, Bristol, Hybrid working with a minimum 3 days in the office The Role: In this role, you will be working to the Director of Digital, Social and Communities, and with the Digital Channel Manager and social team, managing the day-to-day running of Aardman's network of digital publishing partners across AVOD, FAST & EST platforms, across licensed content, O&O FAST channels, YouTube and any other VOD platform. This includes creating individual channel strategies, managing channel schedules and overseeing bespoke asset development for YouTube and other VOD and FAST platforms being a key member of the AVOD and Social content team, and overseeing the management and policing of user generated content. You will be advising colleagues and clients on best practices for VOD platforms, to line-manage a Digital Channel Manager and to be an in-house expert across the digital content marketplace, finding new opportunities for our content on emerging new platforms and carrying out research as required into competitor channels. About You The Candidate: For this position, you will have an understanding of media rights and digital video formats as they will be required to manage back-end systems, Excel metadata templates, populate XML sheets, and undertake basic editing and graphic layout work and therefore someone who is technically savvy with some creative flair is needed. We're looking for candidates with formal training on YouTube practices and experiences of working with YouTube's CMS as well as an excellent understanding of video content consumption on all digital platforms. Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills are required for this role alongside people management experience and the ability to generate ideas independently as well as working within a team.
