We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced person to manage our catering service. We provide 280 lunches every day and we are looking for a skilled Catering Supervisor to manage, operate and deliver a high quality catering service in school, in line with all relevant legislation making efficient and economic use of resources. • candidates must be capable of developing and implementing a range of creative and innovative ideas to continue to further develop our home cooked catering provision • you will have a good working knowledge of managing special diets to ensure our pupils with dietary needs can be provided for • you will be motivated by a passion for quality coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service • you must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment, budget management experience and good IT skills • you must have supervisory management experience and be able to lead a team, demonstrating good leadership and motivational skills to other members of the catering team. You must be capable and motivated to mentor and develop your catering team • effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead as part of a team This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
