The Café Assistant will help nature recover by assisting in the daily running of the busy café at our visitor centre, providing an exceptional level of customer service.
Contract: Fixed Term from 01/04/2024 until 30/09/2024
Hours: 4 hours per week. Typically weekend and bank holidays, subject to the rota. Additional hours may be available in addition to these contracted hours.
Based: Nature Discovery Centre, Thatcham, RG19 3FU

What you’ll be doing:
* Food and drink preparation, including cooking a basic menu and baking
* Ensuring the cafe and visitor seating area is kept clean
* Providing an excellent level of customer service
* Assisting with stock rotation and reducing waste
* Cash handling and using a till
