Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, ensuring full cooperation in all aspects of HSE.
2. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, industry standards, and RICH procedures, focusing on zero lost time accidents.
3. Exceed quality and compliance standards through good practices, including Safety, Quality, and Technical legal requirements.
4. Continuously improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) by effectively reducing breakdowns of factory machinery.
5. Submit continuous improvement ideas, planning, implementing, and reviewing to reduce downtime on machinery and waste.
6. Ensure accurate data input and recording in all related databases for detailed analyses and legal compliance records.
7. Lead a team of multi-skilled engineers.
8. Maintain high communication and working relationships to prevent conflict and confusion among production, engineering, technical, and hygiene teams.
9. Monitor and communicate the performance of the planned maintenance system regarding downtime recording accuracy and maintenance compliance.
10. Collaborate with required functions and departments to ensure efficient development of all equipment and processes.
11. Promote design for manufacture in equipment modifications and product design.
12. Investigate innovative methods for improving RICH technology performance and energy savings.
13. Broaden engineering and operational knowledge and share it within the organization.
14. Support and act on “Root cause” activities in problem-solving and process improvement, coaching teams on required methods.
15. Optimize machine performance through engineering CI and reduction in breakdowns and minor stoppages.
16. Support Autonomous Maintenance.
17. Work cross-functionally to identify and systematically solve problems, sharing knowledge to build on RICH values and the strategic plan.
18. Ensure adherence to production specifications and quality standards.
