Our client is seeking a Production Planner to join their team in East Anglia. This role will involve coordinating the efficient flow of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods throughout the production process. You'll be responsible for ensuring production schedules align with both customer demand and company goals, working closely with internal teams. You'll play a key part in production operations and ensuring timely delivery to customers, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.
You will be someone who thrives on having a busy and dynamic schedule, who sees the value in collaboration between departments and is equally happy dealing with key stakeholders one minute and managing shipping schedules the next.
Key responsibilities to include:
• Managing raw materials- to include forecasting and inventory to minimise waste.
• Production scheduling.
• Communication and collaboration both internally and externally.
• Logistics coordination.
• Optimisation of the manufacturing process.
• Accurate record keeping including performance tracking.
Skills & Experience:
• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning or supply chain management.
• Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
