MARKETING ASSISTANT
We are looking for a full-time Entry Level Marketing Assistant to join our energetic and ambitious team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on role at a leading VC fund backing founders creating a digital and sustainable built world.
Salary: £35,000
Location: Soho, London + Remote working Target

THE ROLE / YOUR MISSION
You will be instrumental in supporting our team in strengthening our position as a leading VC in Europe. You will support in executing our events, content, and social media strategies. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to launch research initiatives, boost press coverage, and ensure a robust digital presence. We’re looking for someone with a passion for creativity and a strong analytical and execution mindset. We value individuals who are innovative thinkers and are self-starters. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develop Engaging Content: Write unique and compelling content for key channels such as social media, newsletters, and Medium.
2. Oversee Digital Presence: Manage and enhance the company’s overall digital presence, including the website.
3. Enhance Press Coverage: Support the Managing Partner in driving media coverage for essential corporate and portfolio news, with assistance from the PR agency.
4. Coordinate Annual Event Calendar: Support the Managing Partner in planning and managing the event calendar for the year, handling event creation, registrations, and promotions.
5. Launch Research Initiatives: Collaborate with the Head of Research to launch the latest research both online and offline.
6. Execute Seasonal Campaigns: Develop and implement seasonal and creative marketing campaigns to support business objectives.
7. Create Branded Materials: Work with a freelance designer to produce branded collateral and materials for various campaigns and assets.
8. Monitor Marketing Metrics: Track and analyse marketing metrics to optimize strategies and improve performance continuously.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. 6 months of professional experience in brand, marketing, communications, and/or a related field.
2. A passion for crafting and executing brand, marketing, and content strategies.
3. A passion for hosting events, demonstrating a keen attention to detail.
4. An excellent communicator and natural storyteller able to craft engaging messages and adapt your tone and voice to suit varying audiences.
5. A keenness to learn PR.
6. Previous experience within a VC environment would be beneficial but not essential.
