What the Job Involves As a Care Manager Assistant in the Penge & Beckenham Locality Team, you'll undertake adult and carer assessments, developing and monitoring support plans in line with the Care Act 2014 and local procedures. Your role includes promoting direct payments, ensuring cost-effective service delivery, and supporting qualified staff with practical tasks. You will maintain records, engage with users following anti-discriminatory practices, and work collaboratively with other professionals and third-party organizations. The role also involves handling preliminary safeguarding inquiries, participating in duty operations, and contributing to service development.
