London Senior On Site AV Technician salary £42,000
A leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.
Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior Onsite AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, taking full responsibility for onsite support services. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Senior Onsite AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Responsibilities:
1. Take full ownership of onsite support services to the client.
2. Proactively train and support end users as required.
3. Locate faults and provide resolutions (i.e., fix/loan equipment).
4. Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
5. Be fully competent with all installed & portable technologies.
6. Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority.
7. Attend and remain on station for important events where required.
8. Manage all aspects of Video Calls from initial booking through to the monitoring and completion of all calls including scheduling and Full Systems.
9. Conduct operational testing prior to any high-profile event.
10. Responsible for all meeting rooms/AV equipment and support in other areas when required.
11. Act as an ambassador; approach and professionalism are extremely important.
12. Maintain a presentable appearance and liaise with senior executives in a calm and professional manner at all times, both face to face and via telephone.
13. Exhibit strong customer service skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
14. Carry out daily checks on all equipment in the building and provide Audio Visual support to other areas of the business when required.
15. Set up PA systems or assist with presentations in meeting rooms.
16. Work onsite shifts to meet requirements.
17. Perform 1st/2nd line repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance.
18. Liaise with the Help Desk & Operations team to arrange backup support.
19. Manage relationships with third-party suppliers on all technical issues.
20. Manage consumables & stock levels.
21. Provide Service Delivery across site against pre-agreed SLA, including day-to-day support of the AV facilities.
22. Initiate continuous improvement programs, securing best practice standards from the internal service base and external industry trends.
