We help our customers complete their vision of ‘home’ and turn it into a reality. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Showroom Manager to run our small Edinburgh team.
Job Description:
As a Showroom Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring an outstanding customer experience in our showroom. You will be responsible for managing a small team, overseeing daily operations, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. This role combines leadership, customer service, and operational responsibilities to create a thriving retail environment. You don’t need to know everything about tiles, bathrooms and paint, but having a creative flair with an eye for colour would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
* Develop, train and supervise your team of sales consultants and designers.
* Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
* Foster a positive and motivated work environment to maximize team productivity.
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
* Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities and providing guidance to the team.
Customer Service Excellence:
* Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered by the sales team.
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
* Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the showroom to enhance the customer experience.
Reporting and Analysis:
* Generate sales reports and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Provide regular reports to senior management regarding sales performance and showroom operations.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices.
* Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer software.
* Willingness to travel
