Main duties of the job
We are looking for a fun, passionate and qualified childcare professional, minimum level 2 in childcare and education, who will enjoy working within a dedicated, established team who are committed to providing an excellent quality of provision.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To provide a fun enabling environment for children to learn and thrive.
2. To act as a key worker to named children, carrying out observations/developmental reports for each child and liaising with parents regularly.
3. Working inpartnership with the team and with parents to act as a positive and professional role model to colleagues and children.
To be considered for the role you will be:
You will need to have a minimum Childcare Level 2 qualification and experience of a Nursery Assistant role in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.
This role will involve working varying shifts between the hours of Monday and Friday from - so some flexibility is required.
