Business Segment: Corporate & Investment Banking
Location: GB, undefined, London, 20 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7JE
To act as an advisor and thought leader generating new income streams and identifying business opportunities. Lead engagements across CIB and consolidate clients plans, working with multiple clients across multiple locations and industries to apply flow, structured and FinTech solutions across all solution sets (i.e. Cash and Trade and Investor Services (IS)) to maintain and grow revenue.
Leads and shapes the client discovery methodology using broader market and industry trends and client behavioural economics to better inform the solutioning teams across all solution sets, and use an iterative process (ideate, design, test) to test the solution with the client.

Experience Required:
1. Transaction Banking with more than 15 years
2. More than 10 years in Sales
3. Develops clear client value proposition aligned to client needs and focused on creating differentiated client experience and value. Works across the Transaction Banking landscape and agrees the appropriate level of client service i.e. which clients should be partnered and/or acquired to gain market share and growth.
4. More than 10 years in formulating a compelling vision and clearly articulates the benefits and future applications of any solutions, trends, client impacts across the Transaction Banking solution landscape.
5. More than 10 years identifying opportunities across Transaction Banking to expand and influence the market, client and/or industry through the application of digital and data disruptors. Partners with solutioning thought-leaders to ensure that clients future needs are included in medium term planning and prioritization.
6. More than 15 years leading the simplification of Sales ways of working/processes/measures to enable transparency, better controls and speed to market.
Additional Information
* Ensure annual financial targets and goals are met for the individual client portfolio across the Transaction Banking franchise.
* Contribute to and meet sales and revenue target as set in the annual budget.
* Manage the pipeline, realization of revenue and monitor the progress of the portfolio. Proactively manage any possible attrition from existing revenue.
Client
* Understand the defined client portfolio in terms of size, market, concentration, risk portfolio, return, potential, buyer behaviours and competitor analysis within the Transaction Banking franchise for the relevant product sets.
* Ensure client segment has latest account plans, working capital modelling and strong deal pipelines.
* Lead the response to RFP/RFI, lead client pitches and solutions to client needs across multiple geographies.
* Execute Standard Bank’s global sales strategy within the defined client portfolio, building relationships with key decision makers and senior leadership within the portfolio and industry.
People
* Coach and guide wider Transaction Banking Sales teams.
* Co-ordinate resources internally across the group at all levels to execute delivery of client requirements to position the bank ahead of the competition.
Culture
* Represent stanbic/Standard Bank at thought leadership forums and industry events.
* Promote the stanbic/Standard Bank brand and culture.
* Build a global network within the bank and the Global Sales client portfolio.
