Role: Contracts Manager -

Your new role
The Role
1. Review the project specification, start date and build programmes with the client, subsequently agreeing the final specification, scope of work, build programme, and any associated cost or time implications with the client, keeping rigorous records and informing the project QS at all stages.
2. Ensure all relevant Company functions have had input to and are in agreement with programme dates and any changes to standard specification.
3. Provide a master programme indicating the progress of all ongoing projects and identify the construction team assigned to each project.
4. Remain cognisant of the need to minimise costs in all areas whilst maintaining standards and performance, and understand reasons for overspends, feeding this information back to the project team/Quantity Surveyor at all times.
5. To prepare and communicate on site build programmes to all relevant parties (client, RTE, suppliers, advise all parties of any subsequent changes, and monitor progress of same weekly.
6. To schedule and chair Project handover meetings (from estimating) which will be attended by the project team consisting of yourself, your Site Supervisor if required, Designer, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, and where necessary Business Development Manager and Manufacturing. You will then ensure that actions from the meeting are progressed by the team.
7. To arrange a post project review meeting with the project team and the RTE Management team, involving the client if required, to derive learning points for future projects.
