Swindon Food Collective seeks an Operations Manager to oversee logistics, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation to meet community needs while minimizing waste.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and coordinating the charity's strategy and business plan with Trustees and the Strategic Business Manager.
* Providing regular reports to the Board of Trustees on operational performance, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
* Partnering with Finance to work within allocated budgets and monitor income and expenditure against targets.
* Managing day-to-day operations, including staff and volunteers, to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
* Ensuring health and safety within all premises and company equipment, and adhering to policies and procedures.
* Monitoring and evaluating the service to ensure quality and technical standards are met.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in day-to-day management and supply chain logistics, strong leadership and team-building skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
This role is critical to the smooth operation of the food bank service.
