Job Description:
Estio Training is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a Solutions Engineer Apprentice based in Market Harborough.
Role Summary:
In this role, you’ll be the face of our company, working directly with customers to install, configure, and support our suite of telecommunications products. A full UK driving licence (with at least 2 years’ experience) is required as you’ll be traveling extensively across the Midlands and South of England. A company vehicle and fuel will be provided. No prior IT or networking experience is needed; we provide full training—you just need a logical mindset, a strong work ethic, and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer-Facing Technical Support: Provide hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at customer premises.
* Remote Support: Diagnose and resolve issues remotely when on-site visits aren’t required.
* Problem-Solving: Use a logical, solution-focused approach to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
* Brand Representation: Maintain professionalism and uphold our company values in all customer interactions.
* Travel & On-Site Work: Drive to various customer sites across the Midlands & South of England—sometimes requiring significant travel.
* Punctuality & Professionalism: Work around customer schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and well-planned travel.
* Learning & Development: Work with a range of evolving technologies and continuously expand your skill set.
Qualifications:
* Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
* Excellent customer service skills – You’ll be the face of our company, so professionalism and social awareness are essential.
* Logical and solutions-driven – You enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure.
* Tech-savvy mindset – Experience in networking, IT hardware, or software is a bonus but not required.
Personal Qualities:
* Self-motivated & independent – You’ll often be working alone on-site, so strong time management is key.
* Highly adaptable & eager to learn – Our products evolve, and so should you!
