YOUR ROLE
The Safety, Health and Environment Co-Ordinator acts as an interface between the KN site operations team, on site Quality Manager and the QSHE Business Partners to proactively champion a culture of health & safety, colleague wellbeing, care, and an environmentally friendly workplace
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Allocate resource for shift activity within the operation and make the necessary adjustments during the day to ensure daily targets are met.
Through observation and walk around monitor required elements including; performance, accuracy, hygiene, over capacity and report / escalate issues as appropriate
Act as 1st line of resolution of 3rd counts
Ensure any ad hoc customer requests are dealt with as instructed by the line manager
Understand, capture / update information on KPI boards
Update / collate data on spreadsheets and reports as required
Ensure that the Goods In calendar is managed to ensure a smooth flow of goods into the site.
Deal with changes to agreed booking times as necessary
Contribute to daily team briefs as required
Prepare shift handover and daily start up information / directives
Attend departmental meetings as required12. Provide support, advice and training to operatives as required using the weekly 5-minute manager as a platform.
Liaise with internal and external customers as necessary.
Recording / raising TIP's (Deviations to process) and lead investigations.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Experience in warehousing and distribution
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Ability to motivate others
A keen eye for Continuous Improvements
Committed, reliable and honest
Recommend deployment actions based on daily fluctuations on demand.
Decide on general communication content of shift briefings
Make decisions on the sign off of training modules
Action customer requests in line with agreed authority level
Re-organise loading activity to achieve the most efficient results for the operation.
Make decisions on prioritising deliveries on guidance from line manager
