The Client
This company is a UK-based skincare and personal care brand specialising in natural and organic beauty products. They currently serve the health & wellness channels, Independents, online marketplaces and multiple European territories through distribution. They are looking to appoint a new General Manager to take ownership of the P&L and lead their growth agenda across the next 5 years.
The Role
The role will take responsibility for delivering a brand-centric approach to growth in the UK market. There is scope for growth within existing channels across multiple brands in the group as well as developing a new business approach to brand growth in new channels. The role will take broad general management responsibility to include Finance, HR and Technology as well as the core commercial areas.
Main strategic responsibilities:
1. Drive UK&I multi-channel strategy plan across category areas.
2. Inspire & motivate commercial, category, and trading teams to deliver a true omnichannel experience for the consumer.
3. Develop a clear marketing strategy to engage and acquire consumers through new channels.
4. Grow top-line revenue and EBITA in line with the global business plan.
5. Grow international territories and define key priority markets.
The Person
1. You will be an experienced Managing Director/General Manager with experience leading a significant P&L in a branded FMCG environment.
2. Experience within the health & wellness, personal care or beauty categories is highly desirable.
3. Candidates will evidence a strong marketing background with an ability to develop a growing brand presence in the UK.
