Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a proactive, enthusiastic, driven Site Manager to work on various projects for an emergin regional Contractor. The role has arisen due to several project wins, as well as internal promotions leading to an absence of Site Managers. As a Site Manager, chosen candidates will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the site team effectively, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
2. Oversee all construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor management, quality control, and health and safety compliance.
3. Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop and implement strategies for achieving project milestones and goals.
4. Manage client relationships and ensure open communication channels to address any concerns or issues promptly.
5. Monitor progress regularly, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation measures to ensure project success.
6. Uphold the company's high standards of professionalism, quality, and safety throughout the project duration.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as a Site Manager on major refurbishment projects
8. Degree or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ etc.) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
9. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
10. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
11. Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
