Position Details:
Job Title: Italian and Spanish Tutor
Location: East Sussex
Hours: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP (pending interview)
Contract Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent)
Pay Rate: £19 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging language lessons in Italian and Spanish that cater to a range of abilities
* Teach and demonstrate practical language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
* Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their enthusiasm and fluency in the languages
* Stay informed about the latest teaching techniques, resources, and innovations to enhance learning experiences
Requirements:
* Proven experience in teaching Italian and Spanish, with strong subject knowledge and fluency in both languages
* Previous experience as a Language Tutor or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting
* Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English
* Certification in language teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential)
* A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
