Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Fabric Engineer/Handyman to join their dynamic team in Salisbury.
Job Description:
As a Fabric Engineer/Handyman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our client's site. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on building fabric, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and general building work.
2. Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
3. Carrying out preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruption.
4. Assisting with minor plumbing and electrical work as required.
5. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
6. Working collaboratively with other team members and departments to provide a seamless service.
Key Requirements:
7. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within facilities management.
8. Strong skills in general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and plastering.
9. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
11. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
12. Full UK driving license is desirable.
