We are searching for a Business Analyst to drive the replacement of our client's legacy Unit 4 Finance system with a new solution to be rolled out globally. This role involves understanding and mapping current financial processes and working with key stakeholders to define future processes once the new system is selected, ensuring the solution aligns with business needs and supports optimised financial operations.
Responsibilities
1. Analyse and document current financial processes across all global locations.
2. Work closely with finance and technical teams to gather requirements for the new finance system.
3. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine future state processes.
5. Support the selection process for the new finance system, ensuring it meets both global and local requirements.
6. Act as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs.
7. Develop detailed functional specifications and business cases for system improvements.
8. Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance system transformation projects.
2. Strong knowledge of financial processes and systems, ideally with experience in ERP migrations.
