Job Profile
As the QHSE Manager, you will maintain and enhance the company's Quality Management System and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will oversee all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities, promoting a culture of excellence and safety across the organization.
Responsibilities / Duties
* Manage and monitor QHSE performance, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
* Lead the Quality and Document Control Teams to achieve functional goals.
* Ensure in-process inspections, documentation, and testing activities meet required specifications.
* Oversee the company's Quality Management System to maintain ISO 9001 accreditation.
* Liaise with customers, supply chain, and third-party auditors on QHSE matters.
* Conduct risk assessments and oversee emergency procedures, including fire safety, PPE, and accident investigation.
* Manage regulatory inspections and maintenance of lifting equipment and machinery.
* Chair Health & Safety/Business Improvement Committees and facilitate improvements.
* Conduct monthly Health & Safety site inspections and report findings.
* Investigate defective components and oversee corrective actions.
* Report QHSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities.
* Update quality objectives and KPI measures quarterly.
* Deliver QHSE inductions and training using internal and external resources.
* Provide QHSE consultancy support to company subsidiaries when required.
Education
* Essential: HNC/D or degree-level education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Desirable: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor qualification, NEBOSH certification, or CQI qualification.
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven experience managing Quality Management and Health & Safety Systems.
* Familiarity with internal and external Quality Audits.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and industry standards (API, ISO, PED).
* Experience in accident investigations and reporting.
* Knowledge of the oil, gas, and offshore industries is a plus.
