The Veterinary Hospital (Gorleston)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Vet to join our team!
Our practice is an RCVS registered hospital and surgery, split over two sites on the Norfolk/Suffolk coast. The area is within the Norfolk Broads and offers beautiful surroundings whilst maintaining a reasonable commute to London. We provide a Minightvets out of hour's service, providing 24 hour onsite care for our patients.
This position is working day shifts on a 7 on, 14 off basis. Shifts are 7:30am-7:30pm. You must be comfortable with an ECC caseload although full support and training can be provided to upskill and develop confidence. Weekends are dedicated solely to our inpatient and MiNight Vet ECC caseload, with week days providing a mix of first-opinion consulting, surgery and in-patients shifts. There is also the opportunity to be involved with our radioactive iodine unit for the right candidate.
Development of our people is important and we'd be keen to support you with any areas of interest. Anyone looking at or working on a surgical or medicine certificate would complement the team very well, but this is not essential.
