Within the Community setting, you will be expected to implement all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified and unqualified staff. You will act as a mentor to student nurses, trainee nursing associates, and support newly qualified staff on preceptorship.
You will be expected to regularly act as the duty person to triage referrals to the team and be the point of contact in the absence of colleagues or when further support is indicated. An understanding of the needs around dementia would be desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will receive training and supervision from a senior practitioner.
Post-registration experience is not essential, and newly qualified or soon-to-be-qualified applicants will be considered. This role allows for hybrid and flexible working. A UK Driving licence and access to a car is essential. Service operating hours are Monday to Friday, 09.00-17.00.
It is recommended to contact the services for further information and discussion about the posts.
