Support Worker – Young Adults
Location: Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire Border
Salary: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome Bonus*
Annual Salary: £25,729.60 - £28,059.20 per year for a 40-hour week
Hours: Full-time (part-time hours available, minimum 24 hours per week)

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join a supportive living and learning environment for young adults with severe learning difficulties and complex health needs. Based in a 14-acre setting, this role offers the opportunity to work with young adults transitioning from education to adulthood, promoting independence and offering personalized care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene, dressing, and maintaining personal appearance.
* Support with medical needs and therapies, such as rebound therapy and hydrotherapy.
* Encourage independence, facilitating activities like shopping trips, art classes, and even social outings.
* Work in a team to create engaging and therapeutic activities that promote personal development and well-being.
* Offer creative solutions to meet the needs of young adults in a variety of settings, from sensory gardens to forestry lessons.
