Regulated business needs an experienced Internal Communications professional to lead internal communications and engagement strategy during a period of expansion and cultural change. This role involves establishing a regular cadence of communications and supporting leadership engagement for hard-to-reach, digitally low colleagues, while also supporting change programmes and developing culture.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Manager’s specific responsibilities include:
1. Working with the senior leadership team on engagement and visibility programmes.
2. Reviewing channels and developing/introducing new ways to communicate with the network across both face-to-face events and digital.
3. Ensuring a regular drumbeat of communications that is measured and using analytics to continuously improve.
4. Working closely with HR on specific engagement and employee experience campaigns and events, and leading on the engagement survey.
5. Developing and executing campaigns with the wider communications team and line managing communications executives, serving as the internal lead on any crisis communications incidents.
6. Working across the business to educate on the impact of effective communications and developing relationships.
Must have previous internal communications manager level experience gained in a corporate business, ideally with hard-to-reach colleagues. The candidate should be able to challenge and influence effectively.
There is flexible working with this role, but expect to be in the office three days a week.
