Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Harlow
Salary: Up To £45,000
Shifts: Monday to Friday (7am till 3pm)

The Business:
Our client is a long-standing family-run business that has been steadily growing due to significant investment over the last 10 years. They are expanding their flagship site in Harlow and need to add Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers due to forthcoming retirements and growth.
This business supplies products to several high-profile companies across the country and boasts an impressive order book, resulting in heavy reinvestment into the sites. This year, they are implementing a brand new CMMS system to improve the reliability of their machines. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a growing family-run business that invests in its people and machinery.
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
* Reactive and Planned Maintenance on highly automated state-of-the-art production machinery.
* If Electrical Bias, work with: Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Photocells, Switches, Relays, Contactors, Inverters.
* Fault Finding on PLCs, reading inputs and outputs, and logging on with a laptop to troubleshoot through code (Training provided).
* If Mechanical Bias, work with: Bearings, Gearboxes, Shafts, Rollers, Belts, Pulleys, Chains, Hydraulics, Pneumatics.
* Refurbishing components in the workshop and completing welding as required.
* Participate in an on-call rota (1 in every 4 weeks).
The Candidate:
The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have:
* A recognised Engineering qualification.
* Experience working on production machinery in an electrical or mechanical capacity.
* Confident fault-finding skills, able to identify and rectify issues effectively.
* Experience in creating improvements to machines.
* Ability to work well within a team or independently.
