Opportunity Overview We are now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to fill an exciting opportunity in The University of Salford’s Sport Centre. The Duty Officer is responsible for the Shift management and day to day running of the Sports Centre. The existing indoor Sports Centre is located on the Peel Park Campus and contains the following facilities: 25 metre swimming pool with sauna and spaFitness suites consisting of cardiovascular, resistance, weights and strength and conditioning rooms2 squash courtsFitness studio6-court sports hallPlease be aware the hours for this opportuunity are on three week rota which includes evenings and weekends. Main Responsibilities To undertake and/or assist the Operations Manager /Head of Sport in the line management of staff To manage all booking administration ensuring that all advance bookings are entered onto the booking system and that invoices are raisedTo take an active role in the operation and development of the membership sales and referral programmes To play an active in any development/promotion/organisation of events/activities at any University Sports facility Being part of a team is important to us, and we are looking for a good team player who will work collaboratively to support our students and the wider University community.
