What will I be doing?
As a Marketing Executive, you will positively contribute to the success of the Marketing Team whilst supporting the delivery of the marketing strategy in line with CitySprint’s strategic business objectives and departmental budgets through the Marketing email and content strategies. All activity will need to ensure all messaging, content, and initiatives are reflective and on brand, and that all activity is measured for success and tracked against ROI.
Your remit will cover the management and execution of CitySprint’s external content strategy, including the maintenance of content on all external websites, social media channels, collateral, and supporting with email activity. This role ensures all messaging and content is reflective and ‘on message’. This role is also responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing industry insight for CitySprint’s key target audiences and verticals, as well as competitor presence and strategies.
Should this role develop into a Senior Marketing Executive, you will be helping to develop the overall email and content strategies, managing all PR output and our awards programme, and owning the company’s CSR strategy from a Marketing point of view.
Skills needed for a Marketing Executive:
* Develop content strategies to improve brand visibility to targeted audience across all channels, engaging with customers and prospects to drive revenue and retention.
* Creation of compelling and creative content that promotes CitySprint’s brand whilst ensuring brand integrity across all channels.
* Proactively measures success of all campaigns (online and offline) ensuring ROI is optimized, learnings are shared, and changes are made to increase future effectiveness.
* Works closely with the Design Team to ensure all assets are on brand, on message, and are effectively targeted to the right audience and touch point in the customer journey.
* Proactively reviews and monitors ways of working to ensure best practice and streamline processes to maximize efficiency.
The key skills needed for the role include:
* In-depth knowledge of online and offline channels to support the delivery of strategic projects aligned with business strategy.
* Understanding the importance of brand integrity across all assets.
* Ability to demonstrate your understanding of the commercial audience to deliver projects successfully in line with business strategy.
* Ability to use data to identify key insights into target audiences and verticals, and use this to drive success in the content strategy.
* Strong competitor knowledge with ability to research and analyze competitor presence and strategies and create specific targeted campaigns.
* Ability to create strong supplier relationships to ensure effective collaborations and deliver results.
* Experienced copywriter with a flair for genuine and transparent storytelling.
* Experience writing for SEO would be advantageous.
* Working knowledge of CRMs and marketing automation (preferably Salesforce and Pardot).
* Previous experience and working knowledge of CMS platforms (Kentico and WordPress would be advantageous) and Google Analytics.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
