Software Tester (Security Clearance)

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be a hybrid position, working out of our site in Chippenham.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Are you a detail-oriented Software Tester with a passion for ensuring high-performing applications? We are looking for a motivated and experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience in software testing, especially within the Defence sector, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate software applications to identify bugs and ensure optimal functionality.
• Execute test cases to detect software defects and enhance usability.
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
• Ensure software meets user requirements and performance expectations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Proven experience in software testing or a similar role.
• Background in the Defence sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in reporting to stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
• Interest in the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Experience in test report and script writing.
